Client Conference
The Co-operative Travel Management Client Conference 2010
We are delighted to invite you to our annual Client Conference to be held on 23rd September 2010 at the Regus City Point Building in London.
This is once again an entirely complimentary event designed to bring our valued clients together to share and debate hot industry topics. We are delighted that this year’s event will be moderated by Peter Dennis, whose travel industry career spans 23 years. Peter is a notable specialist in the developing world of Global Distribution Systems and the very important part that modern technologies are playing in the world of global communications within travel.
Registration and coffee will commence at 11.30am and once again we will have a range of our suppliers who will be keen to talk to you. This event is made possible due to the generosity of our suppliers and they are keen to understand where they may add value to your travel programmes, this year we have designed a brief ‘speed dating’ session to help facilitate this… On the registration page please identify the suppliers you would be keen to meet for a very brief introductory discussion, we would like you to select 5 as a minimum and we will endeavour to match your selection.
Please see an overview of the industry suppliers attending
The ‘speed dating’ session will be followed by lunch before we commence the closed buyer debate sessions for the remainder of the afternoon.
Conference Programme Session 1
The Price is Right
As a buyer how do I get the best price? We will have key industry figures from the air, hotel & rail sectors to discuss how yield management and pricing works, the importance of distribution and we talk through the minefield of unbundling.
Session 2
Let the Good Times Roll
If the economy dictated policy changes downwards, will the reverse be true once the good times come back? Are savings still the main driver, and if so, where will and can additional savings be made. What impact has recession had on your business and travel spend and policy. This will be a buyer driven debate with comments from some CTM clients.
Session 3
Communication, Communication, Communication
The new trends of social media and next generation Y methods of communication are here to stay. Will these trends translate into changed business practices, how can the travel manager best utilise them to benefit their travellers, we have some interested parties who will discuss how we embrace new media into today’s travel programme.
The day will close at 5pm and we are delighted that all delegates will be invited to a post event Networking Evening, more details will follow post registration.
We do hope the themes of the day sound both relevant and interesting, please click here to register your interest. A limited amount of complimentary travel and accommodation will be available on a first come, first served basis, so please do not delay in expressing your interest.
