US Airways – Announces New Birmingham to Philadelphia Service.   US Airways will serve 23 trans-Atlantic destinations from its Philadelphia Gateway this summer. Birmingham becomes the fifth United Kingdom destination served by US Airways. 

The seasonal route will be operated with Boeing 757 ETOPS aircraft configured with 12 Envoy seats and 164 seats in the main cabin.  This new service started on Tuesday 12th May 2009.
