Launch of the newly refurbished High Speed Train
East Midland Trains is currently in the process of a multi million pound refurbishment of its HST fleet, and last week unveiled the first complete refurbished train from Nottingham. Representing an investment of £9 million, the improvement programme will see some significant benefits for passengers, including the introduction of powerpoints throughout First Class allowing people to work more easily on the move. They are also in the process of launching some exciting changes to their First Class offer, so, as well as having better facilities to work and an overall improved travelling experience, passengers will also be able to sample an improved catering offer. In addition to the changes to First Class, the refurbishment also brings a new bright and fresh image to Standard Class accommodation.
New Catering voucher available
East Midland Trains is pleased to announce the introduction of a new catering voucher specifically designed for your corporate customers to use on board our services. If they spend £3 on food/drink they will receive a free tea/coffee or water worth up to £1.50.
Introduction of First Class Lounge "Season Ticket"
East Midland Trains has a new season ticket providing an opportunity for all passengers to use any one of their First Class lounges, regardless of what train ticket they purchase. They are available to buy on a daily, weekly, monthly or annual basis and are priced at £5, £15, £50 and £480. They have four lounges located at St Pancras, Derby, Nottingham and Leicester all of which offer complimentary drinks, snacks, newspapers and WiFi. Currently, all season tickets can only be bought on entry to the lounge at each station.
First and Standard Business Plus
East Midland Trains is offering two days car parking for the price of one on their new First and Standard "Business Plus tickets"! Plus passengers can also save a £1 in food vouchers when booking this inclusive product. All Business Plus fares include a First/Standard Class ticket, seat reservations, 2 days car parking and 2 x food/drink vouchers each worth £3.50 on the train.

East Midland Trains now offers a convenient, professional chauffeur service that passengers can rely on. Whether it be a VIP or simply a tube strike, by pre-booking a car for onward travel from London St Pancras, you can guarantee your passengers a direct onward journey in comfort and style.
