US Airways suspend London Gatwick to Philadelphia Flights

US Airways service from London Gatwick to Philadelphia will be suspended with effect from 8 September (Eastbound) and 9 September (Westbound).  Their existing A330-300 daily service from London Gatwick to Charlotte will continue as normal. Despite this change, they will still serve five points in the UK, including their daily Philadelphia service from Heathrow which began in 2008.

Customers originating at Gatwick still have access to all the connecting options in the USA, the Caribbean, Canada and Latin America via our gateway in Charlotte and, in some cases, more options for connecting to the Southern American states and the Caribbean. US Airways advise this move is being driven purely by economic conditions.
