Virgin Atlantic Announces Capacity Changes

Virgin Atlantic has announced further capacity changes for the winter season due to lower demand.

The airline has taken the decision not to operate its daily service between London Heathrow and Chicago (VS039/VS040) for the winter season 2009/10 and will be suspending one of its two daily services between London Heathrow and Hong Kong.  There will be additional frequency reductions on some other routes throughout this period.

Virgin Atlantic will not be offering its seasonal Washington service (flights VS55/56) for summer 2010.  The airline will continue to operate its daily Washington service VS21/22 throughout the year.
