US Airways New Baggage Policy

 

US Airways recently announced a new transatlantic baggage policy.On/after 04 November 2009, passengers will be charged US$50 for a 2nd checked bag when travelling to/from Europe. Passengers wishing to pay baggage fees at the airport will be subject to an additional US$5 fee per sector. Any existing tickets issued with a checked bag allowance of two pieces will be honoured.
  
US Airways domestic travellers are exempt from 1st & 2nd domestic checked bag fees when connecting to US Airways transatlantic flights within 24 hours.
