Virgin Atlantic announces the launch of services to Accra

Virgin Atlantic is pleased to announce the launch of flights between Heathrow and Accra, the capital of Ghana, from 24 May 2010.  They plan to operate three services a week, subject to government approval, using an Airbus A340-300 aircraft with 240 seats onboard -34 Upper Class, 35 Premium Economy and 171 Economy.  

The flights from London Heathrow Airport are expected to depart on Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays.  Return flights are expected to return on Fridays, Saturdays and Mondays.
