Continental announces Bristol - New York route to be discontinued

Continental Airlines has confirmed that it will discontinue its Bristol - New York/Newark (EWR) service effective 07 November 2010. They said “We have regretfully taken this decision because of continuing operational losses, despite the best efforts of both Continental and Bristol Airport to promote the service.

The daily CO77 Bristol - New York and CO76 New York - Bristol service will continue to operate normally until 06 November (Eastbound) and 07 November (Westbound).”
