Transfer to East Coast 

The Rail Services formerly operated by National Express, East Coast have now been transferred to East Coast Mailin Line Company Limited (East Coast). The services run between London King’s Cross and destinations including York, Newcastle, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Aberdeen and Inverness.

East Coast has introduced a new innovative product for the Edinburgh/Glasgow market to London.

The reason for introducing this product is to offer an exceptional value product on the route with real added value.

Essentially, the product is a fully flexible ticket for £199 in Standard Class with complimentary upgrades to First Class in both directions, access to First Class lounges, a three course meal and underground included in the price.

Currently, this product is available Glasgow and Edinburgh to London return only.  They hope to have London to Glasgow and Edinburgh return available very soon.
