To bring it all to life, 2010 is set to be an exciting year for the Thistle brand. The £100 million rebrand programme is well underway with over 1,100 bedrooms across the group refurbished, 9 hotels reverting to their original names as a mark of their heritage and 40 meetings and events facilities renovated.
One of the hotels to have benefited from this investment is The Kingsley, in central London. Included in this are enhancements to the exteriors, new contemporary furnishings and a technology upgrade throughout the hotel including the meetings and events areas.
The hotel has seven meeting rooms and six syndicate rooms, which can hold between eight and 100 delegates all with access to LCD projectors and BT Openzone WiFi. To offer conference bookers the exact technology that they require above and beyond projectors and wireless internet, the hotel hires AV equipment on the booker’s behalf.
Jane Hills, general manager of The Kingsley said: “Thistle is committed to offering quality meeting and events facilities whilst adding value for delegates and bookers through initiatives such as designated conference coordinators, complimentary upgrades, and competitive offers such as the current day delegate package.
