Important Changes to your online rail reservation system from Monday 19 October

We wish to advise you of an upgrade that is being made to your Evolvi online rail reservation system.

Due to new regulations introduced by the Association of Train Operating Companies (ATOC) there will also be changes to ticketing time limits. Currently, tickets can be issued up to 48 hours after completion of the reservation. From Monday 19 October all tickets must be issued by 1800hrs on the day of booking.

This important change will impact you depending on your method of ticketing:

If your tickets are issued at a Co-operative Travel Management Office

  • Our rail reservations consultants will ensure that all reservations made before 1700hrs will be ticketed before the deadline.
  • Reservations made after 1700hrs will not be ticketed and will be subject to automatic cancellation at 1800hrs.
  • Reservations made after 1800hrs will be held for ticketing on the next working day.

Action required:  Please do not make rail reservations between 1700 and 1800hrs.

If you have an on-site ticket printer

  • All reservations must be ticketed by 1800hrs on the day of booking. All un-ticketed reservations will be subject to automatic cancellation.
  • All reservations made after 1800hrs will be available for ticketing until 1800hrs on the following working day. Weekends and Bank Holidays are not classed as working days.

Action required: Ensure that all reservations are ticketed before 1800hrs on the day of booking.

If you use station Fast Ticket Machines

  • There is no change to the current procedure.  All reservations made will be sent to the Fast Ticket Machine at the time of booking.  The traveller will be able to collect the ticket as normal.

    No action required.

We have also received feedback from many of you that you would like to see the ability to request seats either at a table or by a power socket. We are pleased to be able to announce that from Monday 19 October this facility will be available to all users.

We appreciate that this change may inconvenience some our customers, however, ATOC have made it a condition for all rail reservation systems and we have therefore been obliged to introduce it.

If you have any queries regarding this change, please get in touch with your Co-operative Travel Management office, your Account Manager or online support on 0871 9711990.
