Travel disruptions 24 December

Heathrow Airport

Heathrow is open and runways are clear but some disruption is occurring.

Stansted Airport

Stansted Airport is open and operating as normal.

London Gatwick Airport

Gatwick Airport is open and the runway is operating as normal. There are, however, some minor delays and a small number of cancellations.

Manchester Airport

The airport is open, but there maybe delays.

Glasgow Airport

Glasgow Airport is open. However, due to heavy snow and icy conditions across the UK, flights to and from the airport may be subject to delays and cancellations.

Edinburgh Airport

Flights to and from Edinburgh may be disrupted today due to bad weather.

Aberdeen Airport

The weather is continuing to affect some flights in and out of Aberdeen Airport.

Southampton Airport

Southampton Airport's runway is now open. There are likely to be delays to flights.

London Luton Airport

The Airport is open, however due to recent severe weather conditions some flights are subject to delay and/or cancellation.

Cardiff Airport

The Airport is open and flights are operating however due to adverse weather conditions flights are subject to delays.Departing passengers are advised to leave plenty of time to get to the airport and to check in as normal.

Rail

There is a risk of disruption to train services throughout Thursday 24 December.
